POD - Perfect seal
The POD chamber design required specialized seal geometry.
The seals are just like wiper O-rings used in the sealing applications.
The seal wipers were designed to keep the POD body as narrow as possible to maintain the minimalist appearance. We balanced the holding force of the chamber seals and maximized the purge port openings.
The seal holding pressure is sufficient to keep the hookah together when pressurizing the chamber when purging, yet it is not too strong to separate the outer shell when disassembled to clean or fill the water.
